That friend who brags about you wherever she goes.

Born and raised in Ballarat. Lived and learned in Melbourne.

I have been working in the photography and image making industry for over 15 years. My creative approach— is to find the humanity— to connect with the person or people at the heart of the assignment.

While consistent in its raw and honest nature, my style of working with clients is highly individualised to ensure I stay within your brand guidelines and is reflective of the story you are telling. I love being behind the camera to work one-on-one, but I also collaborate on larger commissions and can build a team of creative specialists.

I work in an ethical and participatory framework. Participatory storytelling is a strengths-based method of working with people and their stories. Ensuring they actively make decisions throughout the process is crucial in assuring meaningful, ethical, and effective communication.

Many of the stories I have covered I do not share publicly on my website or social media. This is often due to the client’s request, sensitive subject matter, or the people and subjects within my work. I respect the many and varied reasons for this.

I believe in ethical and true storytelling

Everyone has a story

so let me tell you a little more about mine.

  • I love the city but I absolutely thrive being outdoors in any kind of nature. There is something particular about being on the edge of the land - the smell, sounds and feel of being at the beach gets me good.

  • My dad is a farmer, so getting my hands a little dirty doesn’t bother me!

  • I’m lucky to have two little humans who inspire me daily, keep everything real; and let’s be honest, chaotic.

  • My guilty pleasures are coffee, wine, beers, and damn good food shared with my partner, my family and friends.

  • I can’t live without travel, music, art and books.
